Hi {{ first_name | default: neighbor }},

A new outdoor concert venue is officially debuting in the East Bay hills this weekend. Siesta Valley Bowl launches Saturday with its inaugural Spring Bash featuring three Bay Area bands, including Talking Heads tribute act Burning Down The House. It’s the start of what’s shaping up to be a packed summer lineup of outdoor shows and community events. Around Lamorinda, the milder evenings and sunnier weekend forecast are also bringing packed food truck nights, farmers markets, trivia nights, and plenty of reasons to stay outside a little longer.

🗳️ SPONSORED BY SUPPORT EXCELLENT MORAGA SCHOOLS - YES ON I

Moraga’s schools rank almost dead last in state funding. Our schools have stretched every dollar, but compounding cuts have pushed us to the breaking point. Without Measure I, deeper classroom cuts and layoffs are inevitable. We must protect the heart of Moraga. Ballots are out now — don’t let yours sit on the counter. Fill it out, sign it, and drop it off today or by June 2.

🍽️ LAMORINDA DINNER CLUB

Our next Lamorinda Dinner Club is heading back to Lafayette on Wednesday, June 17 at 6:30 PM. These dinners are designed to be relaxed, social nights with a small group of locals, good food, and easy conversation with people you probably haven’t met yet. We already have a great group forming with 12 people signed up so far.

🏡 HOUSE OF THE WEEK

Set on nearly three-quarters of an acre at the end of a quiet Happy Valley cul-de-sac, this Lafayette property feels more like a private garden retreat than a typical neighborhood home. The grounds, featured in Better Homes & Gardens, Sunset Magazine, HGTV, and multiple garden tours, are filled with curated landscaping, mature oaks, redwoods, and a year-round creek running through the property. One of the home’s standout design elements is a swimming pool that begins inside the dining room and extends beneath a walkway into the backyard, alongside a detached ADU/studio and easy access to nearby Briones trails.

🌤️ WEATHER

A mixed late-spring forecast ahead for Lamorinda, with a little early-morning rain possible Thursday and Friday before sunnier, warmer weather settles in for the weekend. Most daytime plans should stay in good shape.

  • Thu: Partly cloudy with a chance of early showers. High near 68° / Low around 52°. Mild daytime weather for getting outside around town.

  • Fri: Cooler with a slight chance of pre-dawn rain. High near 64° / Low around 51°. Expect a gray start before the weekend sunshine returns.

  • Sat: Sunny. High near 71° / Low around 51°. A much better setup for concerts, markets, and outdoor gatherings.

  • Sun: Sunny and warm. High near 80° / Low around 48°. Easily the nicest day of the week around Lamorinda.

  • Mon: Sunny. High near 75° / Low around 49°. Mild weather continues heading into the new week.

  • Tue: Partly sunny. High near 69° / Low around 49°. Cooler air returns but still comfortable overall.

  • Wed: Sunny. High near 75° / Low around 51°. A warm, bright finish to the week.

Feels like Lamorinda is easing into summer mode this week. Curious to see how many people discover Siesta Valley Bowl this weekend and end up making it part of their regular summer rotation.
