Hi {{ first_name | default: neighbors }},
There’s a lot to choose from around Lamorinda this week — from Pablo Cruise’s yacht rock show to a pair of community fundraisers, including the Sunday Swing Youth Foundation Open House and the Rotary Club of Orinda’s Annual Crab & Pasta Feed. You’ll also find wellness options like the Mindful Moon Meetup at Atma Yoga. And if you’ve been curious about the new Lamorinda Life Dinner Club, you can find more details down below. Plenty happening around Lamorinda this week.

Happy Holi, Lamorinda! 🌈
Avantika here - Lafayette mom of 3. Anyone joining the Acalanes Color Run? It’s my first time, and I’m still convincing my 12-year-old to join. Come say hi - Honey Homes is proud to sponsor this year!
Holi is about fresh starts and a little more light. So Vishwas and I are gifting a few local families a free Honey Homes trial - a 30-minute planning walk-thru + 1.5 hours of handyman help to help tackle a few home to-dos.
Backyard lights before spring evenings. Floating shelves finally up. The stubborn door that never quite closes. Over 519 Lamorinda families already count on our handyman team - and we’re so grateful.
Book this week and you might even get Vishwas for your planning visit :)
With gratitude and lots of color,
Avantika, mom of 3 and your Lafayette neighbor

🍽️ Lamorinda Life Dinner Club
We’re launching something new for the Lamorinda community.
Our first Lamorinda Life Dinner Club is set for Tuesday, March 18 at 6:30 PM in Lafayette.
Dinner Club is a relaxed way to meet great local people over dinner at one of our favorite nearby restaurants. You’ll take a short matching quiz, we’ll group you with 5 other locals, and you simply show up and enjoy the evening together.
An optional nearby hangout follows dinner for anyone who wants to keep the conversation going.
No awkward networking. No planning stress. Just good food and new connections.
Dinner Club requires a small ticket, with dinner purchased separately. We’re keeping the first dinner intentionally small.

A Resolution To Suffer (Differently)
At the beginning of the year, many of us resolve to feel calmer, happier, and more at ease. By February, most of those goals have faded. In this reflection on learning to relate differently with difficult emotions, I explore why discomfort isn’t a problem to eliminate—and how staying with it can open space for growth, clarity, and more meaningful change.

It’s a full week around Lamorinda — and we’re especially excited that Dinner Club sign-ups are now open. If you’ve been meaning to try something new and meet great local people, this could be a fun one to jump into.
Hope to see some of you around town.
